About us

In a quiet corner of Göreme, the heart of Cappadocia, we offer not just a place to stay — a warm home among the fairy chimneys.

Nature Park Cave Hotel

Opened in 2009, our hotel was built on the footprint of two adjacent traditional village houses, with partial restorations rooted in authentic local architecture. Hand-cut stone and arch-and-column corridors lead into vaulted rooms, while the original cave rooms have been preserved and restored.

For couples, solo travellers and families alike, we offer the airy view-filled atmosphere of our arch-vaulted stone rooms alongside the unmistakably Cappadocian cave room experience.

Enjoy breakfast in our dining hall overlooking fairy chimneys and valleys, or on our wide terraces. At dawn, watch hot air balloons drift down into the valleys from your terrace. We want to give you not just a place to stay, but a warm space where memories are made.

Göreme — The Capital of Cappadocia

Göreme earns this title through both its landscape and its history. It sits within a natural and historical national park, ringed by valleys and fairy chimneys. The town and its valleys are dense with rock faces, fairy chimneys, rock-hewn churches and pigeon houses; many old village homes still use roofs carved straight into the stone.

Göreme's valleys offer hikers and adventurers a one-of-a-kind landscape of rare rock formations. The Roman Castle, used as a watchtower and administrative building in Roman times and home to a two-columned rock tomb, stands at the centre of Göreme.

One kilometre from the centre, the Göreme Open-Air Museum has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. It hosts dozens of rock-cut churches with frescoed walls and ceilings dated between the 4th and 13th centuries, including the 1000-year-old Tokalı Church — the largest church complex in the region.

Fairy Chimneys

Set within the triangle of Nevşehir, Niğde and Aksaray, Cappadocia takes its name from the Persian Katpatukya — "the Land of Beautiful Horses." The region's rock formations are the result of a natural process that began 60 million years ago and continues to this day.

As the Taurus Mountains rose, the volcanoes Erciyes, Hasan Dağı and Göllüdağ erupted, scattering lava and ash across the plateaus. The ash settled into a soft tufa layer, capped here and there by a thinner stratum of lava that cooled into hard basalt.

Wind, rain and floods cracked the basalt; the softer tufa beneath eroded away, revealing the cap-stoned columns the locals call "fairy chimneys". Over time the same forces carved the vast canyons and deep valleys that form today's otherworldly landscape.

Discover Cappadocia

Beyond its natural and historical beauty, Cappadocia is famous for its rich menu of activities. Hot-air balloon flights, the most iconic of all, take to the sky every day weather permits — seeing the region from above is an experience all its own.

For thrill-seekers, ATV and jeep safari tours wind through the valleys; for a quieter pace, horseback rides at sunset are unforgettable. End the day at a Turkish bath or join a Turkish night for delicious food and folk performances.
